To Space on Elavator
Going to space through an elevator? I have read this article once from my brothers science magazine. At first i wondered how they are going to do it because theres nowhere they can connect the cables from the ground to the space but reading the article i was greatly fascinated of what science can do.
Target year for this project is 2010.

There doesn't need to be anything to attach to for a space elevator to work.
This is wrong on the details but conceptually this might help - a space elevator hangs down (in) and and up (out) from it's midpoint. Centripital force pulls the end out.
